I asked God if it was okay to be melodramatic
and she said yes
I asked her if it was okay to be short
and she said it sure is
I asked her if I could wear nail polish

or not wear nail polish
and she said honey
she calls me that sometimes
she said you can do just exactly
what you want to
And is it even okay if I don't paragraph
Sweetcakes God said
who knows where she picked that up
what I'm telling you is
Kaylin Haught

Those photos are really cute indeed! She reminds of young Anne Hathaway. :)

I've posted this poem to my blog, and have also been searching for more of her work. Any updates?

I am looking for books by Kaylin Haught. I found this one poem and I am certain anyone who wrote such a great poem has written more stuff. Where can I find published works?

The photos you posted with
my poem are adorable - and
spunky! You could correct
the tiny error in my poem,
though - "And is it even o.k.
if I don't paragraph my letters" (the placement of the
word "even," is what I mean.
Thanks for your interest in
my poem! (Yeah, I occasionally see what's going on! This poem has received lots of attention -
who knew?)
