Sometimes I wish I were a Brit. They do the darnedest things. Could it be that they're really more advanced than us? Could it be that universal health care creates a different perception of bad habits that are funded by the state?

This concerns me, Beth. What will high school cafeterias be with without mystery meat? It's a staple. This was my favorite bit in the whole story:
"For example, meat products that are made from reconstituted meat slurry that bears no resemblance to the original product."
Food that actually resembles food in cafeterias ... what a novel idea!
